On October 1-2, 2024 we had the pleasure of participating in the second Transnational Meeting of the Erasmus+ Digital Twin on Smart Manufacturing project. This meeting marked a crucial step in defining the guidelines for developing training modules aimed at equipping students with the necessary skills to become experts in Digital Twin technologies for industry.

Our discussions focused on outlining the prerequisites and learning outcomes essential for students to successfully complete this training experience. Key topics included:

Fundamental knowledge: The technical background students should have before starting the courses.

Core competencies: The skills they should develop throughout the program, such as simulation, data integration, and AI-driven analytics.

Industry relevance: Ensuring that the training aligns with real-world applications and the needs of smart manufacturing.

By setting clear learning paths, we aim to prepare future professionals to bridge the gap between digital models and physical systems, fostering innovation in the industrial landscape.
