On January 20 and 21, the working group participated in the fifth Transnational Project Meeting of the Digital Twin project, held in San Sebastián, Spain, together with the international partners of the consortium.
The meeting was a key moment for coordination and planning, with a specific focus on the organization of Skill Competitions, competitions aimed at students from all over the world who will use the Digital Twin platform developed in the project. These competitions are designed as advanced learning and assessment environments, where participants can test their technical and transversal skills in realistic scenarios related to smart manufacturing and the digitization of industrial processes.
During the meeting, the format of the competitions, the evaluation criteria, and how to use the platform were defined, with the aim of ensuring an effective, engaging, and replicable training experience at an international level. The Skill Competitions also represent an important validation phase of the project, allowing direct feedback to be collected from end users and further improving the tools developed.
The meeting confirmed the strong spirit of collaboration between the partners and the value of a shared approach to the development of innovative digital solutions to support training and the future of smart manufacturing.
