Antonio Lo Faro

He graduated in Biomedical Engineering (Biomedical Instrumentation) in 2024 from the Polytechnic University of Turin. His master’s thesis, titled “Hand Gesture Recognition for user interaction improvement in AR Surgery” was conducted during his internship at the Heudiasyc Laboratory at the University of Technology of Compiègne (UTC) – Sorbonne University, in France. He is currently a researcher in the Department of Management and Production Engineering and is enrolled in a doctoral program under the joint supervision of the Polytechnic University of Turin and UTC. His research focuses on Artificial Intelligence and Augmented Reality technologies in healthcare.
