She graduated in Biomedical Engineering (Biomechanics) at the Politecnico di Torino with a master’s thesis titled “Automatic 3D facial expression recognition with ecologically valid 3D data”, realized at the 3D LAB of the PoliTo, in collaboration with the Politecnico di Milano. The aim of the master thesis consisted of conceptualizing a database of human faces intended for automatic facial expression recognition (FER).
She spent two years working for a multinational consulting firm in Digital Health while deepening the theme of smart connected hospitals, smart homes and staying informed on Artificial Intelligence applications in Healthcare. She is currently a PhD student in Bioengineering and medical-surgical sciences and her current research focuses on Machine Learning in Medicine.
