The research unit activities are focused on improving the safety of mountain users achieved by developing innovative personal protective equipment. This is obtained through the introduction of innovative solutions used by the mountain-goers, both to enhance security and to realize the devices that can monitor the effectiveness of the equipment. Specifically, DIGEP working group’s activities were focused on supporting the equipment development, adopting appropriate strategies for the identification of product specifications, operational requirements up to the definition of concepts.
