SUSTAIN-6G

SUSTAIN-6G (EU SNS-JU Sustainability Lighthouse project)
2025 – ongoing
European project, funded by Smart Networks and Services Joint Undertaking (SNS JU) under the European Union’s Horizon Europe research and innovation programme under Grant Agreement No 101191936.

3D LAB participates to SUSTAIN-6G (Sustainability Lighthouse) project which aims to develop a holistic sustainability framework that addresses environmental, societal, and economic aspects of 6G and for key vertical sectors. It will be applied in an end-to-end manner, considering the full lifecycle of assets. The project is under the EU SNS JU (Smart Networks and Services Joint Undertaking) patronage.

3D LAB will be involved in the E-Health and telemedicine field, collaborating within the consortium in order to generate new ideas on how 6G can make digital health more inclusive. 6G infrastructure could not only provide a far-reaching infrastructure for securely transmitting and analyzing medical data, but it also could be the foundation for new home-based online assessment services. These networks could improve the diagnosis and treatment process in underserved communities.
