3DLAB participates to SUSTAIN-6G (Sustainability Lighthouse) project which aims to develop a holistic sustainability framework that addresses environmental, societal, and economic aspects of 6G and for key vertical sectors. It will be applied in an end-to-end manner, considering the full lifecycle of assets. The project is under the EU SNS JU (Smart Networks and Services Joint Undertaking) patronage.
3DLAB will be involved in the E-Health and telemedicine field, collaborating within the consortium in order to generate new ideas on how 6G can make digital health more inclusive. 6G infrastructure could not only provide a far-reaching infrastructure for securely transmitting and analyzing medical data, but it also could be the foundation for new home-based online assessment services. These networks could improve the diagnosis and treatment process in underserved communities.
